The Maldives:
The Maldives consists of 1,190 coral islands grouped in a double chain of twenty-seven atolls situated in the Indian Ocean. Most atolls consist of a large, ring-shaped coral reef supporting numerous small islands. The islands are of average one to two square kilometers in area, and no individual island is longer than eight kilometers, making it world renowned for its picture perfect turquoise waters and white sand beaches.
The Diving is so popular due to the climate and wildlife. With warm tropical temperatures year round, Maldives can be dived at any time. Water temperatures range from 80°F/26°C-86°F/30°C. August-November is considered the best time of year to see manta rays and whale sharks.
Apart from whale sharks and mantas, diving in the Maldives is a variety of different species, such as gray reef, whitetip, nurse, thresher, hammer and even tiger sharks. With clear blue water, white sand beaches, and great visibility, scuba diving in the Maldives is an unforgettable experience in an idyllic paradise.
The Itinerary:
This is an 8 day/7 night trip, diving from the comfort of a liveaboard where you will spend your days eating great food, diving, and enjoying the views of the islands. You will have 17 dives & 1 night dive around the Rasdhoo Atoll, North & South Ari Atolls, Vaavu Atoll, North & South Male Atolls.
The Liveaboard:

Requirements:
All experience levels including snorkellers and non-divers can join this trip, however, it is recommended you have your advanced certification or experience in diving in currents to 30m/100ft, to maximize the enjoyment of your dives. You will need to have dived or have a refresher at least 6 months before the trip.
